Documents & Homework

Trust me, I know how hectic life can be.  I remember the chaos it was to bring my backpack and folders to my mom's second job to try to do it before school the next day. With work, daycare, siblings, sports, and other activities, finding a quiet space for homework is just DIFFICULT.  If your family is able to provide a quiet space for your child to do daily work-- be it homework, reading, or just have quiet play time-- DO IT.  Kids need it.  However...

It's not always possible.  And I know that.  :)  SO to remedy the situation a bit, I will upload as many classroom documents as I can to this page through links and photographs.  You can access the documents on your computer or mobile device and work on the homework on the go.  Don't worry about not being able to print things.  Just scribble me a note that says you looked at the homework and went over it with your kiddo and they will still receive credit!

I hope these links work!

LITERACY

Letter Naming Fluency Sheets for home practice. Time your child for one minute and see how many letters they do correctly. Do not interrupt their errors! Listen to which letters they are stuck on.

Pink Heart Words inspired by Nellie Edge.  We use her sight words as a guide for writing in K! Once your child knows all the words on this list, they pass to the next color heart!
